What kind of Breathwork is this?

This technique originates from Pranayama breath and is a three part breathing practice that instantly gets you ‘out of your head and into your body’. The first part of the session is done though the mouth only and the second part is purely relaxation and bliss. This lineage of Breathwork is originally taught by the renowned healer David Elliott in New Mexico that I have also trained with.


What can I expect from a session?

My Breathwork sessions are a unique blend of breath, aromatherapy, meditation and intuitive & somatic guidance. The essence of the session remains the same but the focus is decided by you and how you are feeling. Sessions are available in person and virtually. You’ll be laying down somewhere flat and comfortable, with something to cover your eyes and with something to make some sound into.


Who does Breathwork benefit?

Generally speaking Breathwork meditation is suitable for all. It’s an active healing technique, that may ‘kick up some dust’ ie. bring up emotions and a sense of past events that may both surprising and liberating. The effort required can be compared to a light jog (without the impact of course!). Generally speaking Breathwork is suitable for anyone 10yrs+ but if you have any concerns, always check first with your health practitioner.

Although very powerful, Breathwork and other energy healing modalities are no equivalent or substitute to proper medical guidance & consultation.


Am I going to be a mess afterwards?!

It’s a good idea to make some space for yourself around your first Breathwork session. Once you’ve experienced it, you know that the fear of being a mess & of what might come to the surface is usually much worse than the reality! It’s totally normal to feel some resistance to a session, but notice that in yourself and show up anyway - It will be worth it!
